As some of you are aware, one of Tyler 2 Construction’s Project Managers, Jay Puckett, was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in October. Rhabdomyosarcoma is a rare and aggressive type of cancer. Jay started chemotherapy this week and he has a 42 week regimen ahead as he battles this disease.![]()
We have a fundraising effort for Jay that is coming up on Friday, November 17th at Truist Field. Tyler 2 is partnering with the Charlotte 49er Club Hockey team for their outdoor hockey game against Appalachian State that evening at 7:30 pm. Thank you for all that competed, sponsored, and contributed in the Kiwanis Club’s Coolest Dog contest. With your help, we raised over $22,000 to support local kids. Every dollar will focus on improving children’s literacy through after school programs. Tomorrow night, March 30th, please join us (dogs welcome) at Protagonist LoSo at 6:30 pm to celebrate the coolest dog. A special beer brewed by Pilot Brewery will honor this years’s top dogs is currently in production. ![]()
